The Bed Buddy Motorcycle Tie-Down Truck Rack is designed for straightforward installation in truck beds, vans, and trailers. Most riders install the system themselves using basic hand tools.
The rack mounts directly to the front bulkhead using the included corrosion-resistant hardware, creating a strong, fixed mounting point that reinforces the structure of the bed.
The installation process is similar to mounting common truck accessories such as bed liners, toolboxes, or tie-down systems.

The rack was easy to install and a very solid piece. The main thing for me is the center tie-down ring. It is so much easier to tie down bike in the truck now.

Super awesome product!This is one clean set up. Great mounting hardware as well. I needed something that would help secure my bike away from my truck bed as I have a roll up tonneau cover and when the bike was in the truck the cover would run up against the back of the cab and rub the paint. This mount works great and it looks like it was made and put on by the factory. I highly highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a mount system. It is very low profile and doesn’t take up any room in the bed and can be removed easily if needed. I also got the extended wheel chock (third bike mount) and it works great!! Great company fast shipping and a great price for a great product!!

My good buddy has had one in his Silverado for over ten years. Alway easy to secure our motos going on the bed buddy.
I wanted one for ever. Inherited my dads 2001 Step side for ranger. The bed is 48” across. We customized the fit and it fits 3 full size motos if I want.
The best way to go to keep buckling your bed and stabilize the bikes and tie them down.

Do not do reviews often but I had to do one on the full size bed buddy I bought for my 2018 F150. Quality product and very easy to install. Took me about 20 minutes. Makes loading the dirt bikes easy and no more front wheel moving around.

I purchased the full-sized 60” Bed Buddy with the third bike extender. I’m somewhat hand and was a bit nervous about the installation. Wow! Installation was really simple and the directions are very clear. The unit is very well made! I am so impressed with the quality, simplicity, functionality, and ease of installation. You can reuse the existing bolt hole in the middle of the bed. A m8. 1.25 50mm bolt will work. The other 2 bolts on the outside uses the hardware provided with the x nuts, drill only 2 holes very simple. FYI put a washer behind the bed buddy in the middle bolt location to match the thickness of the 2 other x nuts.

Used it 3 times this month and it works great! I’ve only loaded single sport bikes in the center so far but it definitely makes things easier. I’m excited to load 2 sport bikes, just haven’t had the opportunity yet. Hoping the tie-down part for 2 bikes is easier so I don’t have to tie through wheels. Very good quality bar and powder coating!

Knowing that my new truck can handle some rough terrain at high speeds I wanted to ensure that I do what I can to secure the bikes in the bed as best as possible. On the ZR2 Colorado there is a big flat area at the top of the bed which is above where is recommended to mount but works just fine. I'd recommend everyone who rides to get one of these racks as it really does work amazingly well.

I was very excited when my Bed Buddy arrived and I could instantly see and feel the quality of it. It is apparent they care about selling a great American made product. I am a new motorcycle owner and this product makes loading and securing my bikes a lot easier and more secure.

Best rack on the market! I had another rack on my old truck and thought it was great until I got this one. The quality is unreal! The powder coating, welds and end caps are all perfect. The instructions are clear and, when I had one minor question, I called and hung up before anyone could answer (because I had another call coming in) and I got a call back within 5 minutes! Amazing! Chris was super helpful and I'm glad I found his product. A couple install notes for the Tacoma. I installed the center bolt on the center ridge but the two outer holes best lined up in a valley (Not sure if ridges/valleys are what they are called but you get the idea). I added washers in between the rack and the bed wall in this valley space to further support things when I tightened down the bolt and nut. Also, I used blue masking tape on the bed and on the rack to mark the location to drill the holes and then removed it after drilling. It made it much easier to mark the holes on the powder coat and the composite bed material. As another reviewer stated, Tacoma owners should be sure to check out the blog by Chris. Super helpful! I also purchased two tie downs for the side rails. Super good quality. I should have ordered four since they are so much better than the ones Toyota supplies. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend!

This solves the eternal problem of you having to stop 5 times to reposition your bike’s front tire before you get to the riding spot! I wish I found this sooner. Not only is it powder coated with a durable finish but it has nice plastic end caps too. I used a couple beefy 3/4” zinc coated washers over the blind fastener head to make a more solid install. Highly recommended fellas, just buy it!

This makes loading two dirt bikes in a small truck so much easier! Having the middle tie down loop for the inside straps means that you can secure them one at a time rather than having to balance them both in at the same time while you thread the straps through the spokes of the other bike. I was hauling a KTM 350 EXCF and a Husaberg FE 390 and both bikes were really stable using either ratchet or cam straps. We did use the bed loops for the outer straps to get a little wider spread than we had with the Bed Buddy outer loops. The compact size fit perfectly in the bed of a ‘97 S10. Mounting with the center loop facing down put it on a flat part of the bed and almost exactly at axle height.
