The Hybrid Moto Rack is designed for straightforward installation in truck beds, vans, and trailers. Most riders install the system themselves using basic hand tools. The reinforced track mounts securely to the front bulkhead using corrosion-resistant hardware and a blind fastening tool included with the system.

The installation process is similar to mounting many common truck accessories such as bed liners, tonneau covers, and tie-down systems.

Once installed, the system becomes a rigid mounting foundation for your Moto Vise chocks and tie-down anchors.

The part is super high quality. Perfect for my cross country haul of my Triumph and KTM.

Won't work with a Bakflip Hardtop Cover

The Hybrid rack will not work on my GMC with a Backflip tonneau cover. I am bummed because this is a well made American item. The hardtop cover folds up and sticks out 6.5" from the bed and the only way to make this work is with the optional 3rd bike support, 2-3 times. I had hoped to use this for quick day trips, but will go back to stuffing the bike sideways in my truck, or continue to use my 16' enclosed trailer. It would be nice if I had known this prior to purchasing, but I can't assume CCR had seen every application. I guess I will offer someone a smoking deal on a new Hybrid Rack.

I apologize that it did not meet your expectations, however as you mentioned in your review, the Hybrid 3rd Bike Extender will solve your clearance issue with the the Bakflip cover. Many customers like yourself that use bed covers choose The Hybrid with the Extender specifically, because it provides the necessary clearance to be able to carry your cycles without the need of removing the bed cover.

Outstanding

Love the hybrid rack. Can load up my dirt bike easily. Also allows me to attach my MTB rack as well (this rack clamps down on the front wheel). Adjustability is awesome. Helps to further stabilize the front of the truck bed.
